“I’m not sure I have a self to talk about.” —Anne Carson
This is my digital junk drawer—a clutter of creative projects that deserve a home but lack formality. As a writer and poet, I identify as an observationalist more than as an artist. These are things observed through various mediums—film photography (mostly 35mm, some medium format), scattered writing projects, and ideas imagined as an element of the thing itself.
A self-proclaimed generalist, Catherine Jimenea is a writer and poet from Houston, Texas. She has a B.A. in History from the University of Houston and is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing-Poetry from the University of St. Thomas.
